Tubular Cast On with Spare Needle Method (RH & LH)
Right Handed: 0:00 Left Handed: 3:38 This video shows the full tubular cast on for 1x1 ribbing using the Spare Needle Method. Provisionally cast onto a spare needle or interchangeable wire, work a few rows of stockinette, then combine this stitches by alternatingly working off each needle. This creates a clean folded edge perfect for necklines. We recommend practicing a few times to make sure your cast on is loose enough to fit over your head or around your waist. This cast on can be aggressively blocked to widen.
