How to work the Ladderback Jacquard technique for both right & left handed knitters. Right: 0:00 Left 0:22 Bring both yarns to the front. Purl with the color indicated. Return both yarns to the back. Ladder back jacquard (or ladder-back jacquard) is a form of double knitting for stranded colorwork that keeps the resting yarn tidy if there are long stretches where it is unused. It typically helps you get better tension than you might by simply locking your floats, and prevents floats from showing through your work.
