For right-leaning cables, always slip through the front loops of stitches. (For left-leaning cables, always slip through the back loops.) Instructions: Slip the next 4 stitches together as if to knit. Transfer 2 stitches together back to the holding needle, untwisting them. Transfer the next 2 stitches together back to the holding needle, untwisting them. Work the cable, in this case k2, p2. (For a 2/2 RC, you would simply knit 4.)
