How to work a 2/2 Left Purl Cable (2/2 LPC) without cable needle - (right & left handed knitters)

For left-leaning cables, always slip through the back loops. (For right-leaning cables, always slip through the front loops of stitches. See that video: https://youtu.be/qdyVTBXw2gU) Instructions: Slip the next 4 stitches together as if to purl through the back loops (tbl). Transfer 2 stitches together tbl back to the holding needle, untwisting them. Transfer the next 2 stitches together tbl back to the holding needle, untwisting them. Work the cable, in this case p2, k2. (For a 2/2 LC, you would simply knit 4.)
